Web Designer
Seeking full time experienced ad agency level web & graphic
designer. Position will include graphic design for web
sites, multimedia and some print media.
Responsiblities
You will be responsible for development of visual
concepts and designs that reflect our client's business and
target audience. Typically you will be responsible for all
creative elements and the overall look and feel of your
projects.
Typical tasks include:
- Creation of original visual/multimedia concepts
- Creation of vector and raster graphics for web,
multimedia and print
- Development of branding rules to maintain consistent
client brands
Skills
Self-taught designers who have achieved a high level of
design and those with design or marketing related degrees
welcome.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of corporate style graphic design
experience
- Solid understanding of web interface design and
usability best practices
- Ability to accurately translate business
requirements into marketing oriented creative design
- Strong oral communication skills / ability to
communicate with clients, vendors, partners and staff
- Ability to collaborate with a team or work
autonomously
- Thoroughness and highly detail minded
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or
Macromedia Fireworks and Freehand
Bonus Skills:
- Macromedia Flash
- Print design with print pre-press experience
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, CGI, ASP, etc.
- Marketing strategy experience
Compensation
This is a full time salaried position. Salary will be based
